Primarily a festival band, they play a fusion of groovy styles including disco, funk, acid jazz and chill out- predominately original material written by Al Boulton. They have played Palm Creek Festival, Wallaby Creek Festival, Airlie Beach Festival of Music; more recently Cairns Festival and Savannah in the Round. The Al Boulton Band is notorious for injecting glamour and showmanship into their live performances to set the festival dancefloor on fire every time. With 2 CD album releases behind them and a couple of music videos, Al Boulton Band has just released a new disco single with a music video titled: ‘She Just Wants to Dance’.
