They all in my way, they draggin' me down They don't wanna see me be great I know it's all hate but it's all in my mind And it's corrupting my brain I'm goin berserk, i'm goin insane Yeah I know that I'll keep feeling pain but I just wanna know why it won't change I'm so tired of repeating my days I'm stuck in a cycle Moving back like i'm dancing like Michael It's all put together like it's a recital I look at the script and I see that my name is the title I don't feel like I am a star My life ain't hard I got a few bruises and scars At best, my life is bizarre I ain't living large I just got a couple good cards I'm playing chess not checkers I know in my heart that I am just better They don't understand my words, the verbs, or wordplay but it's simply just letters I know what I'm worth and I know how I work So please do not say I ain't got nothing to earn It's stupid to speak if you don't wanna learn I spit wit some fire so you gotta burn I was just giving them all of my time For them to just say that it was never mine I lost all my courage, They took all my pride They left me a shell for me to reside I'm tired of talking of to people Tired of acting so cool wit these people I don't like they're timing, they're timing is evil Don't trust that they'll change, I'll never believe them I kept running back to you So attached to you Getting some love that I wouldn't want back from you Would've given you blood that wasn't a match for you But now I don't care You were just treating me bad, don't you say it was fair I'm walking away but that doesn't compare I know what you did, the pain is still there But your not in my way anymore, I'll treat you like air
