I don't wanna be anything But right here in this moment I'm free I'm free Living right here in this moment I mean I guess these days Are supposed to be the greatest in life They say we'll always be looking back so savior it right &. ever since then I just find it getting later at night Thinking 'bout life & am I really making it right I grab a pen and feel my heart start to race as I right & then I read it over and wanna erase what I write I feel resentment towards family members wasting their life I thank my parents every single day for raising me right I got a lot to say its like the pens bleeding I've been keeping so much inside I'm revenge seeking But then even when I get what I wanted It's like depressions in front & I'm more upset that I've done it These days I'm getting colder I tell them life sucks they just say I'm getting older Like what kind of advice is that As if life's a trap But all I really know is that I don't wanna be anything But right here in this moment I'm free I'm free Living right here in this moment Last night I prayed to God man it's been a while I really haven't shown a flash of a grin or smile On top of that I think the past got me in denial I wanna talk, don't really have a close friend to dial My circle of friends turned to a ghost town A path to loneliness, I might as well be the host now I don't even know what hurts the most now Killing the pain or pills my uncle chokes down It's not a shot it's a warning My dad expected you to be here Father's Day morning But you hit the drugs & that's your only sin But you can't hit forever, look at Tony Gwynn Eventually the shit will catch up to you & I ain't a kid no more I ain't trying to look up to you In the sky, I want you here now No other place, we're here now I don't wanna be anything But right here in this moment I'm free I'm free Living right here in this moment As if we buried the issue As if you kept in touch like you were worried I missed you There was once a time I'd be in a hurry to kiss you But my heart set a precedent to already forget you Like what were we in the first place Heartbreakers to each other in the worst case There were times I couldn't stop thinking 'bout your face Now the best times only take me to the worst place A dark place in my mind I've been there before All I know is I don't even really care anymore Or maybe it's the pain talking All I really know is we ain't talking Women asking wassup I pass through & I'm just passing them up 'Cause I ain't fast to give up I ain't asking for much I just feel like shit is undone How could you make memories with someone then become one I don't wanna be anything But right here in this moment I'm free I'm free Living right here in this moment
