Lost for Words

Your eyes couldn't believe Caught somewhere in between Can't tell if this is a dream Am I still sleeping Stand up and look at me And tell me what you see Swollen and rotten Lost and forgotten Dreadful just as a thought But now it's far too real What have I become The new face of fear A new dawn slowly settles in Scent of a new beginning Only one thing in my mind I may not see the light What is it we're fighting for Why do we seek control No shelter can be found This is it, just hit the ground By his name I'll swear last time Before I see the ending profound Going down despite their best efforts I am at loss for words Going down despite their best efforts I am at loss for words Human race can't come to its senses Going down despite their best efforts Poison affects my nerves Problems bigger than our solar system I am at loss for words Attempts to restore order Maintain some normalcy But this has crossed a border Doom in its full potency Right before their eyes This ugly place takes a turn to the worse Knew right from the start There's nothing worse than these acid rain Burns Nothing of value was lost But when the sunlight just suddenly stops Only thing in my thoughts This fate thou shalt redeem To slip somewhere in between Can't still tell if this a dream Or am I still sleeping
