Such a crime shame All I see is pain N****s on the daily getting killed for anything Too many single mothers working hard to provide So less of fathers being there standing right beside While kids analyze Trying to figure why We keep these things hidden from em caught up in a lie Bring them in this world smart enough to understand The cost of living here come with sacrifices man Swimming pools of tears Age through the years Dead broke full of doubt but got to perceiver Survival of the fittest only now the strong survive Better learn to stay alert sleeping with one eye Open in the field Never stay still Because they lie cheat and blast for the dollar bills Take notes listen close this is how it is Everybody ain’t a saint take incentive Too many people put they trust in the wrong hands Too many people take for granite this one lifespan Too many people wanna hate but not appreciate Too many people never work but want to drive wraith Too many people just afraid to stand on their own Too many people culture vulturing on the microphone Too many people quick to lose they own state of mind But gotta hold your own to the grave bottom line Gotta fight for mine Put in overtime Give em reason why they really need to fall behind You decide how it is to make your own path Take advantage keep in mind that it’s simple math Either stay sleep on your mama couch forever Or rise and shine grind hard good or bad weather The choice is yours how you live you ain’t under pressure But keep in mind and remember that it’s now or never
