Just a lonely lonely Christmas
What a glad one it would be
If only my loved one
Would come back to me

Seems like he's been a thousand years
As the days and nights roll by
Ooh yes he's gone away
Oh tell me why

I'll sit and watch as the snowflakes fall
On my window pane
Wishing that my baby would hurry home again

Just a lonely lonely Christmas
For you I yearn
Each night and day I pray
For your return
For your return
