Himesh Jitendra Patel (born 13 October 1990) is a British actor and singer. He began his acting career playing the role of Tamwar Masood in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, from 2007 to 2016, before later making his film debut as the lead in Danny Boyle's Yesterday (2019).
