In geography and seamanship, windward () and leeward () are directions relative to the wind. Windward is upwind from the point of reference, i.e., towards the direction from which the wind is coming; leeward is downwind from the point of reference, i.e., along the direction towards which the wind is going. The side of a ship that is towards the leeward is its "lee side". If the vessel is heeling under the pressure of crosswind, the lee side will be the "lower side". During the Age of Sail, the term weather was used as a synonym for windward in some contexts, as in the weather gage. Since it captures rainfall, the windward side of a mountain tends to be wetter than the leeward side it blocks. The drier leeward area is said to be in a rain shadow. more »

Watch: New Singing Lesson Videos Can Make Anyone A Great Singer

Old state line, a beaten down sign sits right where I left it
Hadn't been back in years
There's your truck collecting it's dust, right where you left it
It's not the same without you here

Every day I would wait, I would pray he could stay here with me
No, I don't want to let go, I hope you find your way home

He was like moonshine, he was strong as hell
Like that old dirt road had a story to tell
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything a man should be
He was constant, always stayed the same
Seasons came and went but he never changed
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything to me
He was like moonshine
He was like moonshine

The floors still creak by our old church seat, kinda glad they left 'em
I can feel you here somehow
And goodbye seems to hard for me, now that you've left us
There's one more angel singing now

Oh and every day I would wait I would pray he could stay here with me
No, I don't want to let go, I hope you've found your way home

He was like moonshine, he was strong as hell
Like that old dirt road had a story to tell
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything a man should be
He was constant, always stayed the same
Seasons came and went but he never changed
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything to me
He was like moonshine
He was like moonshine

He was like moonshine, he was strong as hell
Like that old dirt road had a story to tell
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything I need

He was like moonshine
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything I need
He was like moonshine, he was strong as hell
Like that old dirt road had a story to tell
Didn't know it then but now I see
He was everything to me
He was like moonshine
He was like moonshine
