Mattie Montgomery is an American singer-songwriter best known as the former lead vocalist and frontman of the Christian metal band For Today. Montgomery had been with For Today since 2007, and released six albums and one EP with the band. For Today broke up in 2016. In addition to his work with For Today, Montgomery has his own solo gospel project named after himself in which he has released two albums and a book.
