I walked away
From the one thing I knew had the power to change my heart.
The one thing that brought me true joy and fulfillment.
You see I blamed God for everything bad that happened to me.
I thought he was responsible for it all, because I thought I was doing everything he wanted from me.
But in reality... it was me!
My mistake! I let the love from another trump the love that only God could give me.

I thank God for His mercy.
