The Texas Troubadours were a popular country music band formed in the 1950s. Led by steel guitarist Leon Rhodes, they gained fame as the backing band for country music singer Ernest Tubb. The Texas Troubadours developed a unique sound blending traditional country with elements of western swing and honky-tonk. They released multiple successful albums and were known for their energetic live performances.
