Stardeath is an American rock band hailing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They are known for their alternative rock sound infused with psychedelic and experimental elements. The band was formed in 2004 and consists of members Dennis Coyne, Casey Joseph, Matt Duckworth, and Ford Chastain. They have released albums like "The Birth" in 2004 and "Wastoid" in 2011. Stardeath gained some recognition for their collaborations with The Flaming Lips, as Dennis Coyne is the nephew of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.
