John Womack Jr. (born August 14, 1937) is an American economist and historian of Mexico, the Mexican Revolution (1910–1921), and Emiliano Zapata. He is a former professor of Latin American history and economics at Harvard University. He is the grandfather of the late rapper Lil Peep.
