Houston recording Artist born Jarron Dewayne Griffin stage name jay 2x upcoming artist from north of Houston but grew up in the sunny side area of Houston . jay 2x comes from a musical background his grandfathers were ministers and pastor in the church and his late grandmother Evangelist B.J Foy was a known pianist and choir director, His mother and father were also blessed with musical talents as ministers and preachers starting a group the faithful few ,growing up in church he receives the soul feeling with his melodic tunes and began playing the drums as a toddler, jay 2x quotes as his inspirations to James brown Michael Jackson Fetty wap , gunna , rod wave and many more. jay 2x would began making songs as a 8th grader and developed his own unique style , in the fall of 2020 he and his brother fellow GMB artist gmb lil g born Gordon Charles Shaw and artist Clyf 365 born Charles James Foley founded GMB Records and their debut studio album titles loyalty before dishonor was the kickoff of 3 careers in November of 2020 jay 2x released hs debut solo album lost soul of a child which hit over 1k streams in February of 2021 he relapsed the 2nd chronical to his story jay 2x is still devoting his own sound and mixes it up we never know what vibe we may get from him, god has blessed this young prodigy as he continues to make more music under his independent label
