Chiara Civello (born on June 15, 1975 in Modica, Italy), is a sicilian singer-songwriter-pianist, and pianist. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, she is currently based in New York City. She received the Boston Jazz Society Award (1998) and the Cleo Laine Award while still studying in Berklee. She will be performing for the first time in the Sanremo Festival in 2012. She will be singing the song "Al posto del mondo" meaning "In the place of the world."
