Blue Barron & His Orchestra was a popular American dance orchestra that was active during the 1940s and 1950s. Led by bandleader Harry Freidman, who adopted the stage name Blue Barron, the orchestra had several hit recordings, including "Cruising Down the River" and "You Were Only Fooling (While I Was Falling in Love)." They were known for their smooth and romantic sound, often performing ballads and waltzes.
