ABYDOS is a progressive rock/metal band formed in 2004 by German musician Andy Kuntz, who is also the lead vocalist of the band Vanden Plas. The band's music incorporates elements of symphonic and melodic rock as well. They released their debut album entitled "The Little Boy's Heavy Mental Shadow Opera About the Inhabitants of His Diary" in 2004. ABYDOS is known for their conceptual and theatrical approach to their music.
