Jacky Jasper

Sean Merrick, professionally known by his stage names Jacky Jasper and H-Bomb, is a Canadian-American rapper and record producer. He is best known for affiliations with Kool Keith as a part of rap groups KHM/Clayborne Family and 7th Veil. Merrick, under his HDV moniker, started as a member of Toronto-area supergroup Dance Appeal in the early 90's. From 1990 to 1993, he released two solo albums, Sex, Drugs + Violence and Higher Deeper Values through Canadian independent record label ISBA Records, before he moved to New York. He resided in California and released two more albums from 1996 to 1997 under his H-Bomb alias, In Yo' Face and Narcissism, spawning his first charted single "Playa's Need No Love" with Roger Troutman, which peaked at number 33 on the Hot Rap Songs. After he met Kool Keith and Ice-T, Merrick appeared on Keith's First Come, First Served and Analog Brother's Pimp to Eat. Merrick, Keith and Marc Live formed a hip hop trio KHM and released their debut album in 2002 titled Game, which peaked at number 42 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. From 2002 to 2004, Merrick has released two more solo albums, Keep My Shit Clean and Jacky Who? under his Jacky Jasper nickname, and the sophomore KHM album titled Clayborne Family. Keep My Sh*t Clean is currently his most successful solo effort, reached number 60 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. In 2005, H-Bomb served as a producer on Shade Sheist's sophomore album Before The Waitin' Before The Hatin'. Merrick and Keith collaborated once again to form a rap duo 7th Veil. They released an album titled Stoned in 2008, featuring production from Chilly Chill and guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Ike Turner, Rick James, Silkk the Shocker and Flavor Flav among others.
