Rockin' Dopsie & the Zydeco Twisters is a musical group known for their energetic performances of Zydeco, a genre of music that originated in southwest Louisiana. Led by the late Rockin' Dopsie, a Master Zydeco Accordionist, the band combines elements of blues, rhythm and blues, and traditional Creole music into their unique sound. They gained popularity for their lively shows and are considered to be one of the prominent ambassadors of Zydeco music.
