Alton Meeks Stricklin, better known as Al Stricklin (January 29, 1908 – October 15, 1986), is an American pianist. Nicknamed "Brother Al" or "Piano Pounder", He was known for his participation in Bob Wills' band Texas Playboys from 1935 to 1942, and performed on several of the band's classic recording, including "New San Antonio Rose", "Steel Guitar Rag", and "Take Me Back to Tulsa".
