And now I’m sailing all alone.  My only hindrance is memories, not even the unknown.
And I’ve been banking on the wind.  I know these sails will not betray me, nor will the ocean that I’m in.
So, if you see me sailing by, it’s with a deaf ear I’ll turn from you, no teardrops in my eye.
Get on my way now, is what I’ll do.  I’d rather challenge God to bring me down than leave it up to you.

So, turn me over, where I know I don’t belong.
And turn me out, ‘cause I won’t be here for long.

It’s getting late now, no time to stall.  You couldn’t join me if you wanted, ‘cause I can’t afford to fall.
But there’s a light on up ahead.  It’s just my time to be in front of you, in the high waters instead.
