Colours – i bet you're thinking that they don't matter
But everywhere you look you see the rainbow shattered
White or black  nail your colours to the mast
The dead hand of the past is gonna smack ya in the ass
The people that we stole my whole country from were red

Now I live in Spain, and it don’t rain on the plains
And half the coast is ruined just so they can  entertain
German tourists and the forests were cut down long ago
All those green trees destroyed to build a bunch of  boats to fill with gold
Purple robed kings and queen’s plundered foreign shores
To pay for their wars turnin once rich countries poor
Whoring for an empire grey smoke from the fires
Who knows how many dead screaming burning on the pyres
Yellow like a coward mellow hiding in their towers
Devoured by corrupting power in their final hour
Sour goes my mouth when I think of all the hopes
Of those poor people dashed and don’t forget the pope
With that stupid white beanie what the hell is he hiding?
Maybe a botched lobotomy – that’s why he’s always smiling
How else could he stand the red blood on his hands
Of the millions killed through history buy that fucking church man?!
