Moved out of hometown december has come
Crying all night is it Merry at all
Without the people laughing at home on Christmas eve
When the time comes by
Don't wanna turn the lights off
Wish to keep them on they Remind me of the love and
The cheer of feeling all surrounded by the warmth of their hearts

But we left all these decorations in a box
Waiting for us to get back there and deck the halls
I don't feel cheer without my mom's flowers and these empty words of joy

So mom got me a little tree
She wanna make me believe in this time, again

In my heart I see the lights

I hear people chanting happy holidays
But am I even happy missing the good ol' days
When all our dreams would come and sit with our families and friends?
But then Christmas came with the first fall of snow
And Carolers singing "Santa Claus on his way
