The woods are growing wild with a whisper on the wind
The river knows the answer to the question that's within
It'll be another cold night in purple moonlight to be sure
My heart's a guided fortress but my mind's an open door
Carrying this torch through a cavern to the end
Fearing that an endless storm is starting to descend
Where the flowers and their splendor are in bloom
And the abbey stands in ancient runes

The faded realm is misty and the mountain looks too steep

I wonder as I wander through these hills of emerald green
A dweller in the hollow of this otherworldly scene
A world of difference there in the reflection that I see
With the person who I was no longer staring back at me
Only God knows who I am and where I am to go
By His grace alone I will prevail until I know
My soul's ablaze with courage fueled by all that I aspire
As I sing the last refrain in this aria of fire
