Seventh grade was still deceived and still thought life was his own
Not 'til after eighth grade was his sin fully known
Gave his life to Jesus cryin'
Hands and knees on the floor
Sweat was fallin'
Bones were achin'
Jesus captured his heart
Did the unthinkable, but Father let his whole life restart
Finally connected, nothing gonna tear us apart
Satan's gifts was just so terrible, I had to depart

I'm still a sinner, but from now on you can rest assured
That no one ruinin' my faith or my soul no more
Still in disbelief I used to have a heart so cold
God, I know Your love is perfect and You never falter
