Materialism left me searching for new material
My exorcism left me feeling ethereal
Childhood issues I thrown in my bag and brought them to college
Eating cereal dry out the box
No milk in it, I'm deadly serious
But other than those bowls can't cook no food
I order pizza, cold tortillas
I'm the defect, nice to meet you
Detect me defecting like North Korea
Respect me, I need that sorta thing
Blessed is the poison tree.The eden apple's core is sweet
I graduated high school but I walked it with shame
My peers and pops watched my head hang
Maybe soon they'll watch the rest hang
Just a young beanstalk with a philosopher's brain
Kids on the block, modern day Abel's locked in they cage

Watched my mom struggle through her divorce while I connected words on circuit boards
Honesty with myself is a process I still work towards
Soon as I get the chance I'll give her everything she deserves and more

God created man 'cause he was bored
Adam was alone, he was bored, he asked for Eve
Eventually, people created the Tower of Babel
And the reason they did that was sheer boredom
That's the only reason people put together culture at all- it's boring
The world is full of nothing
It's one distraction after another to keep you from seeing into the vacuum of your Existence
To prevent you from looking right at the void and being turned into stone
