Yeah
Look
Let's bring it back to beatin' tables tops
Runnin' off of dial up
Didn't have a cable box
Back then is when I wore a fitted with the yankee socks
The east side loved me then
It feels like they hate me now
Let's bring it back to falling leaves race
Every scary movie had a nigga up for three days
Play station games all started up with EA
Every phone call was me and shorties on a three way
Back when I was in the parades
Everybody had braids
Back before ya' first kisses were made
Back before my first thought of touching money was save
My knees scraped cuz' the young man was trying to skate
Way before I learned to manage time
Way before I grew up I had to learn to handle mine
Handle mine
Yeah I learned to handle mine
90s baby yeah it raised me
I can't keep that shit inside
I said hey
I'm feeling great oh
This life fucking changed
But you know I'm the same oh
Let's bring it back to the days
Let's bring it back to the days oh
Let's bring it back to the days
Before everything changed oh
I remember on the week days
Way before the treatin'
Riding round' with friends
Know I probably scrape my knee yeah
Who made me so damn clumsy
Know theres food at home when a young boy getting hungry
Before all the money
Before all the songs
We was so intrigued with the world we was on yeah
Growing up we never bring the feeling along
Growing up your friends why they do you so wrong
Why they do you so wait
Can't move too fast
Gotta' make my own damn path
See the parents want the school
But the heart wants the craft
Had to move on feet
No keys no crash
Off beat no lag yeah
Way before the swag
Way before the drip
We was walking round' just some fresh ass kids
Know I sound ridiculous but life is a gift no nick
No life is a bitch no shit no
I said hey
I'm feeling great oh
This life fucking changed
But you know I'm the same oh
Let's bring it back to the days
Let's bring it back to the days oh
Let's bring it back to the days
Before everything changed oh
