The ships that we sail
The lips that tell tales
 The world and its veil
Are all getting pale
And yet we prevail
What's left screaming is our soul

The depth of this sea
The chest and its key
The quest to be free

Who swept through the seas

Vortexes and raging seas
I don't know what's underneath
The waves are crashing and flowing right as I ride with the beat
Some days I die, then I breathe
What's ahead I couldn't see
Without a few storms the journey's incomplete

Everyday that goes by
I look up to the sky
The light of her smile
Is spread across miles
The dread of the mind
I've left it behind the shore

Every way that I've tried
Each song that I write
To fight through the night
I'm writing these lines
For everyone lost at sea who's away from home

 Goddamn these turbulent seas,
I don't know what's chasing me,
This song just forms a force strong as the brazen gong and our fleet
