So I can never keep a conversation or hop on stages

I can therefore be back to be a better person in a matter of time

Because I always find a way to stop the fire from burning
Every time I'm feeling hype and so motivated to write
I wonder what it's like to be reaching the greater heights

All the Shadys and the Pacs who were ripping it on the mic
Whether in a session or doing all live
With energy dispersing, you feel it in all spines
Like COVID it's all kinds of sick
Thoughts fly
Said I wont be the greatest or greatest of all time
Then I just pause
Then I get lost in my own mind
What is the cost
Cost is investing this small time
What if I never make it and fall on this long climb
And at 37 go work at McDonalds because I
Never got my degree
Thought I was doing me
Thought I would be relieved by following all my dreams
That is the biggest scene I imagine how I will be
It's discouraging but what really encourages is to look at all my progress
Acknowledge I'm not flawless
Look at all my problems and wonder how I solve them
It's not about the "what if's"
It's more about the "how then?"
Because your mind will always be afraid to face a challenge
But challenge is the key to getting stronger and get closer to your purpose
Remember that your mind will always make you think you're worthless
And bring up the past
Tell you that you never did deserve to be a winner
But that's only determined by how you're workin
