But some times I feel like I'm spread too thin

But that shit is new and no feedback's hard to take

It's crazy how many things I put on my plate
Compared to years ago when I had a blank slate

Writing down these lyrics. That takes some time
Filling out each sentence and creating each rhyme

Opportunity costs over here and over there
Do I make a thousand happy or sit in my chair

And work on novels, roleplays and music I make
They don't get attention but I sure feel great

A trans-dimensional juggler
You spawn one ball then another

You're not expected to do this
If you wanted to, you could've just dropped it

And I think to myself, am I doing okay
Am I high on stress or was I always this way

I don't know if I should be working this hard
Turning out new stuff for the high of the reward

I live for the feedback. I live for the praise
And the stuffies are getting all the praise these days

And I know that's because they were there for six years.
I feel like I'm starting over. Everything's cleared

Maybe I'm new. maybe I overreact
Maybe the confusion won't really last

I do really like working on music
And my storytelling skills need another outlet

It's like two rewards when I do what I want
One's 'cause of praise and the other's just fun

I think I really need both to be content
At least if I'm to be content one hundred percent
