Oh, it's been so long
Oh, it's been so long
A cloud of dreams dissolved and ten years had gone
Oh, it's been so long

Don't know where I've been
Don't know where I've been
But now I feel the sun smile on my skin
At last I'm here again

I'm waking up from a dream
Real strange how strange the real seems

Never meant to hurt no one
Never meant to hurt no one
But when the smoke had cleared I held the gun
Lord let those days be done

Oh, I been through hell
Oh, I lived in hell
Strange how grateful I've become to tell you
Wake up and hear the bell
Wake up and hear the bell
Wake up and ring the bell
