Silent Planet is an American metalcore band from Azusa, California. The band is currently signed to Solid State Records. To date they have recorded two EPs and three full-length albums. Their name is derived from the C.S. Lewis science fiction novel Out of the Silent Planet. Even the silence has a rhythm and as I beat against the earth it sounded like omission. Laying inside the lowland, I bowed within the reeds. I gave myself to consequence when grace devoured me.

Colors ignite with cosmic fission. Eidolons of light scorch the earth in absolution. I'll break like the dawn, I'll bleed by design. Surrender regret, there's no antidote for time. How can I survive?
