Hippy punk fairy princess I guess
You wanna get something off your chest and rest
Frozen heart, feel the heaving of your breast
No need to tell me the rest, girl I know it's the best
Crimson tears they've been dry for years
Static shock, music of the spheres
Though my words are never sounding clear
Your black hole's my final frontier
The hours pass, this blunt's like my warden
Head in the clouds
Must be the ghost in the garden
Where do my eyelids begin?
The vices of last night absolve me of my sins
My feet are cold, my lungs are black
I just want you back
I just want you back
Hold up wait a minute I've been going too slow
Don't you know
You forgot to count the days
So you wrote 'em in a notebook
Stint in the ER, back in the CR
A little salt water and a birra
Too close, too far to me
You know scars will heal but were meant to bleed
You're drunk by the phone
Wondering who left you alone
And do you ever think about
The way the cold air hits your skin
When your sweater is far too thin
And you're out front smoking a cigarette
And your soul it aches from regret
The hours pass, this blunt's like my warden
Head in the clouds
Must be the ghost in the garden
Where do my eyelids begin?
The vices of last night absolve me of my sins
My feet are cold, my lungs are black
I just want you back
You got the key, I got the lock
Saw it coming but it still came as a shock
Left my heart in the middle of the ballroom
I'll follow you through the dark
Busbench memories are divine
Trying to find peace of mind in my life
The punks in the bathroom are cutting up lines
And the bloodstains cover their eyes
Honeybunch creampops
No limits, we don't stop
Like live ammunition in a gun prop
Picture the deceased
Poke them and wake the beast
The water under my feet will leave me with scars
Won't get very far
I'm swimming in tar
Let's get in the car, drive west
You'll be a star
Look to the roof
I think I see 'em
The hours pass, this blunt's like my warden
Head in the clouds
Must be the ghost in the garden
Where do my eyelids begin?
The vices of last night absolve me of my sins
My feet are cold, my lungs are black
I just want you back
The secret is with me and the moon and we hover
Can't find her arms in these covers, my lover
Discovering holographs and violent colors
Lilac lips she's got the taste of another
The hours pass, this blunt's like my warden
Head in the clouds
Must be the ghost in the garden
Where do my eyelids begin?
The vices of last night absolve me of my sins
My feet are cold, my lungs are black
I just want you back
