Some people want to be free
While others tell them no
Plant yourself like a tree and
Learn to look back for once and
Please just let go of the past but
Use it as fuel even when trouble is home
But if the sticks and stones may break your bones
Remember, you are not alone

When you hear the flies are buzzing
You may think that you're time is coming
And resourcefully resort to hiding in ducking
You don't feel the pain anymore, it's mind-numbing
Maybe you may figure out when you find stumbling hard
It will give you the fuel to climb up and later be triumphant
With everything you got, you just try summoning
Digging deep in you, the fire's functioning

Instead of a goal it becomes side hustling
But what more do you expect from a dime a dozen
That shouldn't be a sentence you should try to stomach
Deuteragonist with a new summit
To be following with the new comings
I've always been one to route for the underdog
Especially when they believe they will come along
Through salvation even their stories can prove that it
Reigns true in the song that

Some people want to be free
While others tell them no
Plant yourself like a tree and
Learn to look back for once and
Please just let go of the past but
Use it as fuel even when trouble is home
But if the sticks and stones may break your bones
Remember, you are not alone

Your palms are sweating, your mind is racing
You don't want to be alone, you're crying and shaking
It will be no different if you dined with Satan
Intrinsically restricted intertwined in his matrix
Some when they leave decide to just abort
Mission four in the morning nose dripping, cold, sick frozen
Bloated and motion sick copes with it holding this
Ibuprofen in grip from the fright of holding the infant

Doubt can be egregious if you just leave it
Or decide to feed it and make it become prestigious
Parasitic as a feeling when its merits are believed in
Begin to seep into the fetus whether you seem to perceive it
This time you won't unleash a demon
You know better when to quit
Go get resources and use it, know when it's therapeutic
But if motionless, dead and stupid just
Cope with the pen and music and
Hope it will get you through it
Knowing the stencil infused with

Wisdom, justice, temperance, and courage
Cope with whatever you need to cope with
By yourself, with others: do it best for you
Mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally
Know that you are one day rise up
Maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but eventually
With that said, don't follow the definition of fear will you
Forget everything and run, but rather the one where you
Face everything and rise
Then will you find true happiness and purpose

David, aren't you gonna rap the rest?
Yeah, sorry I just got lost at the moment
Uh, where was I?

When you staring down, at your wrist or the ground
You don't want to die you don't want to bare it now
No serafins or a call for a fairy now
Your future legacy doesn't need to be buried now
If you step off of the ledge, or jump off of the bridge
You won't forgive yourself, when you're fallen quick
You won't get Heaven's help, if you called it quits
You'll be put in your own cell, and grow fond of it

For the crippling known percentage
Please listen to this oath in rhythm
Written in like stoicism innocent for those forgiven
Pivoting for those limited revision for those when hitting
Revisiting those when hidden
The restriction for those is lifted
Since I was little, I've been chosen to perform as a
Cloaked mystical form never known to fit in the norms
The praise is not something I would chase a lot but I
Still maintain the plot that

Some people want to be free
While others tell them no
Plant yourself like a tree and
Learn to look back for once and
Please just let go of the past but
Use it as fuel even when trouble is home
But if the sticks and stones may break your bones
Remember, you are not alone

It's not that it got easier, you just got smarter
It's not that your environment adapted to your needs, you just developed to your wants

If you want to tell someone where to take steps, put their shoes on

We tend to look after those who are first, but not those after who tend to look first

Never beat yourself up because you need enough strength to get up

You can only prove your worth if you know your worth

Knowing you can help someone will always surpass believing you can help everyone

This all resides
Where your goals are accomplished
Where your dreams come true
Where your meaning is made
And where the grass is greener
