Had to grow stronger to put it in past tense
That day it was the last dance with the devils that made a mockery of the time
I've spent.... wrapped in thoughts
Times I've fought, times I've lost
Time I've won...
All it takes is some space for growth, and bad times are gone
My shadows told me that change is inevitable when I slipped into depression
I sprang back a new man
Looked them in the eye and told them the exact same thing
How is time the only thing we've got but always feels like it's running out?
Stressing
Some questions can only be answered by life
But often we let our sight get distracted and we don't see the light...
We search, we find
If we don't, it's fine
Silence can tell a thousand stories if you listen closely
Solitude can show you places where you're never lonely
Some losses have to be dealt but they carry a trophy
That's what the ancestors told me
This is my definition of keeping it OG
I pay homage to my peers that share the same vision
By dropping tears, on the rose that grew from the concrete
The next time the devil tells me to fall asleep?
I won't sleep - no sleep
Keep praying for protection from dangers I don't see
And the stress that I don't need
All this hunger in my belly got me fed up, Imma go feast
Fears not invited
