Going down the hiway I'm going about ninety
Look up in the mirror the cops are behind me
Pull off on the exit crept into an alley
Turn off my lights no one will find me

But i don't care cause I'm high on heroin
And as they go by i make my escape

I'm going to see the black tar goddess meet up with the dope man

Only to the opiate am i loyal
Now i graduated needles and spoons
Alone by myself time goes by in this room
I casted a spell and now I'm in hell

The system is not about recovery
All just profit and money
Dealers worship the almighty dollar
Junkies scream in pain as they holler

Contributes more to the drug wars destruction
Problem is this will never stop
One dealer goes down another opens shop
Or you got to deal with crooked cops
Only way to stop it is to stop it at the top
But the people in power have made a promise
To keep their silence to fill their pockets
All you are to them is another deposit
As they sit back and count their profits
It will keep on going on its a cycle
Another overdose another revival
Another drug shipment another arrival
How can it end how can it say idle
In the world of drugs its all survival
Police and gang life its all tribal
More will die to stop it is vital
America totally in denial
Like a virus there is no vaccine
The only way to stop this is to stay clean
Talk about a pandemic this is systemic
For years we have been lost in this epidemic
Every single day more people die
Drug overdose murder or suicide
By doing nothing continue to comply
You hear the people outcry but most just stand by
The sad truth is there is no cure
You must find within yourself how to endear
But most people wont they'll disappear
Or they're tied to strings by the puppeteer
Guide yourself to truth to fight the evil
Otherwise the next shot could be lethal
Within darkness be guided by the light
Fight the fear within and
Listen to your insight
