When I think about you, I feel conflicted
Because I want to blame you, but I can't
I can't weight myself down anymore
To try and level our love's slant
The balance will not meet, so I try to balance
My dislike of you to my love of you
To get the perfect spot, where I no longer care
But it will not happen, 'cuz your faults are few

You see it's not your fault that you don't want me
It's not your fault you don't want me to say
That I'm not giving up, well, now I know it's my fault
Because I won't let it happen any other way

Looking into the future, you're all I see
Though I can't really see what I mean
It was a conscience choice that I didn't make
Oxymorons aside, I don't think when I think
It's never based on looks, it isn't based on your mind
It just occurs to me for who knows why
Is it divine intervention that our lives intertwined
Or did I truly have more to do with this link

Either way, I'm here, and I'm not leaving this ride
For my exit has long gone past

But for unknown reasons I want this to last

And my feelings they modulate, they fluctuate, they congregate
Extreme emotions for you
And if there's one thing I take away, it's that I care
And that's something I want us to share
It's a constant back and forth, my mind
But I always decide in the end
There's no other way that I could want
You have to be more than a friend
You're just looking out for me
But I don't need your eye
You plea to me not to like you

I know who you are but only barely so
And I wanna know you more
I've lasted this long, I really don't let go
