But this is my day to be lazy

When it comes to doing work on weekends, it's easy to not
Probably harder than a rock to be productive on the spot
Just wanna lay on a cot and just forget about the clock
Lost in thought, starin' at clouds like in a state shock
Lay and just chill, play some games, enjoy a meal
Life can be extra foreal, take that mental apple and peel
No need to think about your work or issues as of lately
Or them bills that keep screamin' like "Don't forget to pay me!"
I need no reminders, no calendar invites
I just need one moment of silence up in my life
And I think I earned it, man, I think earned it
Send me more to do, and I think I might just burn it
Throw away that "Penske file, 'cuz I ain't workin on that now
Clear that desk, it's best I rest with a smile
And I'm just amazed at how people actin' wild 
When we can just chill instead of running the rat race for miles

Work hard then play hard, That's how you balance it
But life can get so crazy that it's just so challengin'
Fill your bucket with rocks and then fill it with sand
The rocks are the important things now understand
If you fill it with the sand then fill with the rocks
Then you'll never have time for anything on your clock
That's why I take it easy when it's time to take it easy
Drop my stress and take a breath to relieve me
