The Birdwatchers

The Birdwatchers were an American garage rock and pop band, active in the 1960s in the Tampa, Florida area. The band dabbled with an Everly Brothers sound in their early career (1964), releasing a cover version of "Wake Up Little Susie" on Tara, a local Florida based record label.During 1966 and 1967, the band released five singles on the Mala and Laurie labels, in addition to local releases on the Tara, Marlin and Scott labels. What makes this all I can say
Oh well
まったく、大事じゃねえ
It's hard to tell
Pointlessly pulled from the fray
Is my moment here
Hopefully open by May
But likely not this year

It's never coming back
There's no normal we can return to
We had no plan of attack
But read the cracks in the bones, they'll tell us what to do

It's for your parents' health
A valid reason to collapse on yourself
So wear a mask and hide
The awful beast that's bottled up inside you
Karen, can you hear me now
Missouri, can you show me now
I'm waiting here with bated breath
You're wearing out your paper gown
That's how it goes

"I know a better way
I know a place
I know I'll get you there
At my own pace"
Don't stop now

Oh, displacement's killing me, oh no
I know it's taking it slow

There is no "happily ever after"
Heads up till you're giving up
There is no "happily ever after"

Oh, displacement's killing me, oh no
I know it's taking it slow

There is no "happily ever after" now
