For years that would play on my mind
Hard as hell to think clear when your given a death time,
The only real I had was to think back
When everyone from Vietnam was coming back
And it was just brothas true loyalty and all
We gave ourselves a name and promised we'd never fall
But things got complicated during those times 
If you were dark skinned it meant tougher times
And no excuses - nobody should be doing crimes
But for me the hope - lied in the group this time
And I take responsibility for that
But for these crimes, I'm innocent better believe that,

I started pushing this anti-gang fight 
And felt guilt for every member that lost their life
And was like Damn it's my responsibility 
Look what I started, look what it did to me
The gangs ain't the way and neither is the government that's about to kill me in a few days

Early this morning 
The state of California executed convicted killer 
And anti-gang crusaders 
Stanley "Tookie" Williams
He was put to death in San Quinten Prison
He had been on death row for over 25 years

Rest In Peace Stanley "Tookie" Williams III
And to those who also been murdered by the hands of our government
We will not stop fighting for you
We will not stop marching for you
Til we see true justice
Til the end of time
