More of us need to be there
Because we need to be defending our Movement
There's more of us than them
So what the hell are you afraid of
There's more of us than them
We can put tens of thousands
We can put hundreds of thousands of People into the streets
But let's put 'em in the streets
Let's put 'em in the goddamn streets
Cause that's the only way we gonna stop these pigs
We ain't gonna stop them by prayin'
We ain't gonna stop them by beggin'
And we ain't gonna stop them by talkin' doody
We gotta put People in the streets
We gotta keep this Rebellion going
This is not no time to slow down
This the time to pick shit up
Let's get started
We are coming
Hands up don't shoot
You are in violation of Minneapolis curfew
Please disperse or you will be arrested
Hands up please don't shoot me
Hands up please don't shoot me
Hands up please don't shoot me
Hands up
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
Yeah, look, uh
Hit the gas
I’m geared and I’m war ready
Focused on all of the things that they said that we couldn’t do
Take your minerals
They shoot at my People like they thought these niggas was bulletproof uh
I got a target on my head
But I’m still out in them streets
Ten toes down
Who want the beef
Beef with the government til they ain’t sleep ugh
We are products of Royalty
No ignoring me
History on your hands
That made the Hundreds bleed
Wake up keep all your stimulus pay stubs
We move with the Mass then we shake some
We want the Change tell 'em pay up
This is the Protesters’ Anthem
The new National Anthem
Hit the gas
All real Patriots, stand up
Hit the gas
It’s time to do our fuckin’ job
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
For those of you sitting atop your thrones made of bones
In your glass castles, watching us Peasants fortify in the streets and the shadows
Right now would be a good time to decide on which side your loyalties lie
Because you sure as f*ck can’t keep hiding from what’s happening outside
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Oh my god I got chills this looks so good
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
No Justice No Peace
This is their war and we just want Peace
This is their war and we're the enemies but
This is their war and we just want Peace
This is their war and we're the enemies but
This is their war and we just want Peace
This is their war and we're the enemies but
This is their war and we just want Peace
This is their war and we're the enemies but
No Justice No Peace
This is the Protesters’ Anthem
Hit the gas
The new National Anthem
Hit the gas
All real Patriots, stand up
Hit the gas
It’s time to do our fuckin’ job
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
Hit the gas
No more Patients
No more waitin'
The world full of hate
I can’t escape
What can we do when they hatin'
Change it
The world don’t even look the same no more
Too much blood been spilled on the floor
To them we're thugs and we want the war
Lies
That be the shit we despise
That’s how we look in they eyes
Wow
Y’all be the ones that’s pointin' them guns
Listen for the cry out
I go hard every day for my Sisters and Brothers
Dream of days where they won’t hate us for our skin color
This is the Protesters’ Anthem
The new National Anthem
All real Patriots stand up
It’s time to do our fuckin’ job
Hit the gas
Ideas are bulletproof and like Legends never die
We stand here in the Legacy of the Dream
The Dream that Dr. King lifted up
That Whitney Young pushed for
That Mattie Jones fought for
That my grandad Lindsay E. Hearn Sr. demanded
We're here today because we know that Dream is not done
Because although they marched for us then
The cries we're hearing across the country right now
From Kenosha to Kentucky
From the hood where I'm from
To the hollers in Appalachia
To everywhere in between
Those cries let us know we have more marching to do
And it is in this moment where we must rise up Together
Because listen we are built for this moment
We are on the shoulders of Giants
But we must step off of those shoulders and lead ourselves
We are the Dream but we must turn that Dream into demands
Demands for Real Justice
Demands for Humanity
Demands for Accountability
Demands for an End to poverty
Demands for an End to racism
And I am a living witness
As the youngest Black state legislator in Kentucky since the first one
And yes I did stand up and run against Mitch McConnell
I am a personal witness that we are ready for this moment
We're built for the work we must do
And if we come Together
All of us
If we Stand United
If we March Together
If we Bend that Arc Together
There is nothing we can't do
There is no mountain we can't move
And there is no root of racism we cannot pull up
So we gotta do it right now
We gotta do it yesterday so we definitely gotta do it now
And I stand here as a young man in the Legacy of a Giant, Congressman John Lewis
Who said 57 years ago some words that still ring True right now
We have to re-lift our voices Together and say to America
Wake up
Wake up America
Because we can't stop
We cannot quit
And we cannot be patient
Let's win Together
Let's fight Together
Let's Transform our Future
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
I said all Power to the People
All Power to the People
We meant it then and we mean it now
And another world is possible
Yes it is possible to legislate Justice and Accountability
People over profits
Joy over trauma
Freedom over fear
Yes it is possible to write budgets that actually value Black Lives
If it feels unfamiliar that's because it has never been done in America
We will meet the Moment
We will work toward Healing, Justice, and Collective Liberation
Like our Lives depend on it because they do
We will March on
Clear in our Conviction, Rooted in our Faith
Grounded in our History, Intentional as we Build
Let me make it plain
Black Lives Matter
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
All Power to the People
I said all Power to the People
All Power to the People
We are coming
