About Colonel Iglesias
He and his men rowed to the Island of Threcia
In the year 126

Upon rowing upon hitting the shores of Threcia
Which are pretty soft shores
They disembarked and found
So many cactuses
Threcia was full of cactuses

And as they walked across the island step by step
They noticed the cactuses grew in height and density
Until they were in the cactus city

And upon the realization that they were in a major Metropolitan Cactus Area
They looked at each other
And decided to commit a crime

They took out their swords
Like swash-slanging buccaneers they took out their swords
And they unleashed their swords upon the stalks
Of the cactus stalks
One by one the cactuses fell

And after all half the cactuses were cut down
The Queen of Threcia emerged from her cactus cave
Her name was Silianthra
And Silianthra said

Colonel Iglesias and all your men
How could you come to an island of such beauty
And only think to cut down
The cactuses which I have raised
Which have nurtured this island

And Colonel Iglesias the bastard by the way
What he said was
Queen Silianthra, don't ya know
I'm on an expedition for resources
The kingdom back in Klarkon
They demanded me to harvest many cactuses

And Silianthra said
Iglesias, no
Your mind has been warped by the evil sayers
Of your homeland

Let me show you the way
Take my hand
I'll take you into the cave under Threcia

And so Iglesias went with his men 
Down into the den of the cave of Threcia

Upon which he found glimmering crystals 
The source of life upon all earth
The crystals
Silianthra called them Life Crystals

And the light shone
Shining and shining, shining and shining, shining and shining
Captain Iglesias could not handle the light
Shining and shining he could not handle the light
His men cowered taken by the light
Shining and shining, shining and shining
His men, pierced by the light
The light pierced the men
The men stricken by the light fall on the ground

And in a big twist of events
They become the ground
And their corpses become the new
Cactuses of Threcia!

Silianthra was right
To warn them of their ways
For those who wander onto the evil path
They find what they desire
But then they, too will become
Their own desire

Threcia, Island of Cactus
Silianthra, Queen of Cactus
And the bastard Colonel Iglesias
Himself now a cactus

When you all came here, my children
You asked me to sing you a song
A parable, a story from the cosmos

I selected the one of Colonel Iglesias
To show what happens to those
Who wander onto the stray path of evil
Informed by resources
And not the beauty of metropolitan areas
In which all cactuses grow together
Under a Queen
