I woke up this morning with a burning in my chest
Not really sure of my future, who knows what happens next
One minute everything's cool
Chillin and vibin
Then suddenly there's lying, deceit, and arguments with no compromising
It's not surprising, been fighting my whole life
I was told if God got you then everything is alright
They still question what's real or not
Would the world be as messed up if there really was a God
That's no offense to the true believers in Jesus
But Jesus we need you when police beat us
Pull up out the heaters and [gunshot]
Then leave us bleeding
Tragic when we discover a person of color dead because of a weapon no one recovered
They fish in rivers of our mothers tears
But we refuse to live in fear
Surviving while we are here
These demons they hate me
They chase me, trying to rape me, break me
Shoot me in the back cause they're not man enough to face me
Lately
I feel like the world has been against me
My eyez and soul been looking empty
I don't know what's gotten in me
Praying someone can hear me
I'm just beginning to live so don't let this racist hatred end me
I have a passion that's everlasting for rapping and some of the fattest asses
They turn me into a rabid savage, the black Hugh Jackman
My fetish with lettuce supposedly brings me relish
I'm skeptic cause I been chasing my dream but always fail to catch it
Attracting negative attention
Not to mention
My rebuttals at the law reflect of an attentive menace
Why do I need their acceptance
Because their preference
Is that a nigga be shooting hoops or rhyming a reference
Creating hustles just to make it by
Needing more than my 9-5
So I'm getting my people high
Barely walking but I wanna be fly
So I
Give em that stuff that make em demand more of my supply
The system hates niggas
Oprah is an exception
Been stressing since adolescence fighting depression
Every day is a struggle
Every mouth can't be muzzled
Every word can't be mumbled
And you can't knock my hustle
The blood spilled on these curbs has upsurged
It's absurd
The cries from the people are being unheard
Fears that I won't make it to tomorrow
The life I'm living is borrowed
Not given a thing but sorrow
I'm in a gun fight with a bow and arrow
Is supremacy really important
They ban abortions and continue extortion just to seek fortune
This has my mind distorted
You planted cocaine around me for me to snort it
An attempt at new world order
I'm black, I rap, and I play ball
My pants sag and I appear mad when I walk through halls
I use slang and I got an accent when I talk
And every now and then, I tend to grab my dick and balls
Watermelon, fried chicken, my nigga I eat it all
Gold chains, clean whips, and Jordans, I got em all
But
What's the point that I'm trying to make
Even though I got these traits you don't got the right to discriminate
You don't know what I been through
Can't survive what I lived through
The tears wiped up with tissues
They say that race ain't an issue
Labelled a threat because of my complexion
Harassed, beaten, arrested
Because of gold around my neck man
They say the pen is mightier than the sword
Then bullets flew
And put those men on the floor
Judicial hypocrites
This they can't admit
Cause murder is murder
Race don't make it any different
If they murdered me today, they'd feel like that's okay
They can shoot me in the face while this song being played
Now if he killed his equal, that's an automatic sentence
Meanwhile they killed me and that's a death my people gotta deal with
That's how it is for us here in Amerikkka
They speaking of equality but thinking they superior
Black lives matter and I can't stress it no more
The police using excessive force and kicking doors, OH MY GOD
If Fred Hampton still walked a campus, I'm sure he'd be very pleased
I'm Huey Newton, no violence cause my death would come with ease
They murdered JFK, MLK, and Malcolm X
Marcus Garvey is dead so whose gonna be the voice next
Bobby Seale had to kneel or he'd be shot too
Claimed the Thug Life then gangbangin killed Pac too
All of my role models are deceased or being censored
Cause in a world full of snakes we still controlled by Master Splinter
This nation wants to see my annihilation
But I won't let a racist determine my fate cause I'm destined for greatness
Labeled a riot when we stand up
Cause y'all don't understand when we marching with our hands up
Freedom and justice for all is what we want
But it appears that the pledge was written in a different font
They say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice
Pac said the darker the flesh, the deeper the roots
I say more colorful pigment, the more misleading the truth
I hit the booth
With hopes that I inspire the youth
I'm here to end the mental pollution
The revolution I create will lead to evolution
Possibly solutions
Cause February is just an illusion
They lying like Lucious
They wanna abuse us cause their confusion leaves us with contusions and lacerations
Free my brothers thats incarcerated
Off possession, discriminated
Doing years like they were raping
And at this point I'm fearing for my children
And I'm also fearing for my women
Cause they ain't protected
They ain't respected
And that's some bullshit
Loading up a full clip cause I can't take no more of this
Some do the things they do only to remain relevant
Some people lack intelligence
Others just for the hell of it
All lives matter, yes I know
Ain't gotta tell us this
But black excellence being killed and that's some sketchy shit
Yea

In order for you and me to devise some kind of method or strategy
To offset
Some of the events or repetition of events
That have taken place here in Los Angeles recently
We have to go to the root
We have to go to the cause
Dealing with the condition itself is not enough
And it is because of our effort
Toward getting straight to the root that people often times think that we are dealing in hate
We are oppressed
We are exploited
We are downtrodden
We are denied not only civil rights but even human rights
So the only way we're going to get some of this oppression
And exploitation away from us or assigned to us
Is come together against the common enemy
Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair
Who taught you to hate the color of your skin
To such extent that you bleach to get like the white man
Who taught you to hate the shape of your nose
And the shape of your lips
Who taught you to hate yourself
From the top of your head
To the soles of your feet
Who taught you to hate your own kind
