Behold, I stand at the door & knock
If anyone hears my voice & opens the door
I will come in to him & eat with him, & he with me
The one who conquers
I will grant him to sit with me on my throne
As I also conquered & sat down with my Father on His throne
He who has an ear
Let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches
Isn’t heaven what your searching for?
Knock upon your heart I know you heard the door
What’s it gonna take for you to serve the Lord?
Bring your brokenness to the Merciful
Let Him in, let Him in, What you waiting for?
Let Him in, in
Let Him in, let Him in, Open up the door
Let Him in, in
Stop, don’t you feel the tension in this place?
Hearts drop at the mention of correction there is hate
By the Kings command I address you in His name
He didn’t come seekin’ a friendship for just one day
But the message has been repentance
In other words time for change
Cuz we all been reckless to follow our own ways
“See you in heaven”
Is it truth? Or just something we say?
To be heaven for His Presence, or just a place to stay
There’s no more time to waste
Who wants to enter inside those gates?
It takes death to the flesh nature
Sinfulness be the condition of this mess maker
Which is why we need nothin’ less than our blessed Savior, Jesus
Our hard hearts keep Him out though
You can’t keep sin for long on the downlow
What begin as private then unleashes secrets outdoors
Speaking faith to the doubtful
So what you wanna doubt for?
Isn’t heaven what your searching for?
Knock upon your heart I know you heard the door
What’s it gonna take for you to serve the Lord?
Bring your brokenness to the Merciful
Let Him in, let Him in, What you waiting for?
Let Him in, in
Let Him in, let Him in, Open up the door
Let Him in, in
There is none hidden from Your vision, all will give account
I picture when You visit us like a visitor to a house
But we run cuz we don’t wanna come to the light
Men hung Him up to die cuz none of us love the light
He rose from the grave we still chose to be slaves
Deceived that we could stand & look Him bold in the face
Jesus steps on the scene even the demons tremble
Drove greed out the church when He cleaned the temple
Healed bodies with a word & didn’t have to touch’em
Miracles with provision than the crowds began to rush Him
Spoke with authority & vital power
Ascended into heaven til the final hour
When He returns to the Earth what’s your life gonna speak?
The only words on my tongue Jesus Christ is the King
When He returns on the Earth what’s your life gonna speak?
Better be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ the King of Kings
Isn’t heaven what your searching for?
Knock upon your heart I know you heard the door
What’s it gonna take for you to serve the Lord?
Bring your brokenness to the Merciful
Let Him in, let Him in, What you waiting for?
Let Him in, in
Let Him in, let Him in, Open up the door
Let Him in, in
Thru the flesh He broke down the wall of hostility
Hope was born veil was torn the possibility
You and I get a chance to approach
Because of Jesus we’ve been granted access to the throne
So don’t make heavens hotline your last resort
All men fall short call upon the name of the Lord
God better take precedence if you want Him in your residence
He won’t share glory with another once you let Him in
Heaven bound is more than just well wishes
You gotta live with the purpose of heavenly intentions
Why would you wanna wait til it’s late?
The time is now
Get some oil ‘fore your lights go out
Behold He stands at the door & knocks
Christ freely gave so what you waiting for to stop?
The hand moves every day on the slate of your life’s clock
If you don’t surrender you’ll miss heaven by a long shot
Isn’t heaven what your searching for?
Knock upon your heart I know you heard the door
What’s it gonna take for you to serve the Lord?
Bring your brokenness to the Merciful
Let Him in, let Him in, What you waiting for?
Let Him in, in
Let Him in, let Him in, Open up the door
Let Him in, in
