Who Killed Captain Alex? is a 2010 Ugandan action comedy film written, produced, and directed by Nabwana Isaac Geoffrey Godfrey (IGG), by Wakaliwood, an ultra low-budget studio in Kampala, Uganda. The film gained viral notoriety for being a no-budget action film, produced on a reported budget of under $200 although producer Alan Hofmanis later stated that the production value was in fact $85. A trailer for the film was uploaded to YouTube in January 2010 and the full film was uploaded in March 2010, and has been viewed over 8.8 million times as of August 2023. The original version of the film was lost due to power outages and "strained conditions" according to Nabwana, while the surviving version of Who Killed Captain Alex? released online includes commentary… more »

Luminescence in my essence
Light bright, you should keep some shades within my presence
Radiate great glare, can't be polarized
Shine ultraviolent, leave the darkness mortified
I don't recommend you stare
You take it lightly 'til you're blinded by my solar flare
Have your vision looking whiter than a polar bear
You wanna try it, be our guest, brotha Lumiere
Beastly how I take it there
Freaky with a lady near
Just to keep this theme, let's say I'm lighting up the derrière
Type to leave the track impaired
Flavor all up in your ear
It would take a lot of y'all to make me ask Napier
Log our rhythms can't compare, yeah
Feel the glow when they play me
Say bye to night time I'm sunshining daily
Bask in the limelight but can't chase the clout
Know the brighter it gets, the more the shadows come out
I'm impolite, outright, 'til the dust I bite
Ridin' tight late night, I ain't stop at the light
Boy, I'm T.N.T. yeah I'm dynamite
The Fahrenheit' rising, I ain't scared of heights
Young boy and I'm larger than life
But sometimes all that shit just be causing me strife
I ain't famous, but they treat me like I'm in the limelight
In hindsight, they just see my life as a highlight
Truthfully, I'm just tryna be a fuckin' person
I'm tired of people acting like I'm a brain surgeon
You heard this? That shit really fuckin' with my purpose
There's more to people than what you see up on the surface
I pull up on the scene and they be diggin me
My energy, but they ain't be diggin deep
I feel like they just wanna be up on the winning team
Their talk is cheap, they can't see who I really be
But sometimes, I'm the motherfucking protagonist
Immaculate, I'm the opposite of inadequate
Call up your analyst, amulet with no amethyst
I'm a catalyst, I'm swagging on accident, it's extravagant
We only spoke once, but you got a lil' obsession
I guess I'm really good at making first impressions
Yeah I'm fucking destined to be a fucking legend
Man, I fucking reckon I was made in heaven
When I pull up, everyone gon' look up
I'm the fucking greatest to do it from here to Europe
Activist, I'm changing the game, ain't talking syrup
Catch me in first, and I ain't even need no stirrups
Yeah this my first race, and I'm in first place
The mafia gon' kill the game and that's our first case
I ain't gon' stop 'til we in space eating desert plates
I'm finna start a revolution this the birthplace
(Mumbling) that's how I get down, uh
STOP THE TRACK!
I told myself I'd never change, not a day in my life
I'll chase this dream through trial, tribulation, struggle, and strife
I could cut a rapper up, throw out a rhyme like a knife
Tiger Mafia the fam, this music shit like my wife
See I would ride for her, lie for her, f*ck it, I would die for her
Once I finally hit we gon' fly into the sky
Or maybe that's just fantasy, so answer me this
Would you rather make the time or wear an advance on your wrist?
Now lately, I done learned a lot about the man in the mirror
Say the longer that you keep still, the truth gets clearer
And I couldn't look away, decided that I had to stay
I made promises to people we would get to better days
Now, I thought that was a journey we could share together
And soon enough we'd reap the benefits in fairer weather
But I watched a flower die when it got put on the shelf
I guess some things gotta change when you take care of yourself
I been feeling like a legend, Outcast, call me six stacks
I don't do the chit chat
There you go, take your bitch back
All night, 'til it's pitch black
I was pushing nick sacks
Buying books when I flipped that
So I didn't get sent back home with the click clacks
I ain't need to risk that
We gon' work it out, where your wrist at?
Bitch, I'm fresh to death, yeah you call my ass tic tacs
Looking at the competition, yeah we mismatched
