Yo, when you hear me spit
Ion want your pity on the life I live
A lot has been discovered since i grew from a kid
And im still constantly learning as if im still is
Look, I know it's gonna sound awkward but
I feel like talking about my mistakes for once
The vultures waiting to pick me apart when im done

Bruh, to think about it, I was really dumb
A pre-adolescent, i lied because i couldnt run
All my lies would creep up on me, expose themselves and luckily
I'd get my ass whooped and all that would be done
But no, my insecurities would kick me in
Untrustworthiness never landed a solid friend
And at some point around that time, it really set inside my mind
Puberty started, my evolution from boy to man
my growth was more than just mental
It came with Depressing Expectations Through my Romantic Interests 
Then came the desire to think a little
Regardless of the fact, all of that shyt was instrumental
Im still making bad decisions to this very day
I never put in enough work but always down to play
I know the things i need to do, but what's the phrase say
The hardest advice to follow comes from inside ya brain. Aye

I know that life is never smooth as silk
But keep ya head up, and simply move with the groove
Life aint over yet, so why be stuck in a mood
There aint no point in crying over no spilled milk
Look
You got too much goin on to be depressed
It's too much to ask you to jump up and smile
You have all the right in the world to have your regrets
But what is that doing for you right here and right now

I made mistakes
Invested wrong, in plenty ways
I been fucked over in plenty ways
I still look at my past and start regretting things
And while it never helps to do so, I continue to do so
Wishing my life could be redirected by a Russo
And a snap of a finger would let me redo or do over
But its just Deja vu, from the last time i needed closer
I dont mean that to scare
I say all that to tell you that I've been right there
With a mind full of stress, and a heart full of regret
And a soul that just wish it all was over and yet
I perceived, and I need you to do the same
So you can make it here
And help somebody else that might need a healthy ear
Full of wisdom that'll help em grow and succeed
But to get to that point, gotta help your people in need

You arent lazy, you're only jaded
Exhausted at your current circumstances maybe

Find a way to get up out your horrid position
And talk to somebody thats gonna actually listen
So when somebody come to you hurtin like something is missing
You can enlighten them the very way that you did it
