Well, I watch you each day as I look for some way to make you realise I exist
But each scheme I invent never goes how it's meant and another opportunity's missed
I'm a cake without the icing, you're my puzzle's missing part
Desperately I ask you please, "How can I win your heart?"

Could I persuade you with song to love me right or wrong and never be                
Parted from me

So though I trekked through the Andes or sailed up the Ganges when I reached the

Where you are I must go

Should I write you a song, bring a small band along, throw roses till they pile at your feet
Or get a plane, learn to fly, write your name in the sky every day - would you think that was neat?
Should I write Nobel Prize novels and dedicate them all to you
Take your pick or all of this but tell me what to do!
