It's so lonesome, when you have to sleep all by yourself.
It's so lonesome, when you have to sleep all by yourself.
When the one you love, you lost to somebody else.

When you lay down on your pillow, behind you is a empty space.
When you lay down on your pillow, behind you lies a empty space.
Where the one you love, has let someone else take your place.

When you got a good woman, treat her kind in every way.
When you got a good woman, treat her kind in every way.
Because I want to tell you, ain't a good woman is found every day.
