Down where Deer Creek's just a trickle
'Neath the cottonwoods' great height
As I stand upon the footbridge
We built many years ago
It reminds of my family
And how I love them so

A circus starring woolly bears
Was led by that same child 
Fish scales on the Picnic table
Where we cleaned mess to fry
The spirit of a girl yells JUMP
As I catch her from the sky

Only eaten by my wife
And two acres worth of forest
Overflowing with wildlife
The laughter of teenagers
Watching movies Friday nights
And the stars above at midnight
Far away from city lights
