Yo I know from time to time we all feel like shits never gonna go right 
So I made this song as a way to remind each and every one of us to keep our spirits high 
And to work together to help each other rise cause the choice is ours you gonna flee or fight

As I sit here thinking to share 
What's happened just in the last year 
I remind myself of my promise not to succumb 
To the doubt, uncertainty and fear
Cause that's wasted time tryin to understand the why 
Of how life can look so sublime 
With your spirits on high then like a flash in the night sky 
It's all gone bye bye bye 
Thinkin it won't get worse than this 
No prospects living pennyless 
Over some stupid ass mother fuckin shit 
But this is why I stay optimistic 
Cause at least I'm not workin payless serving governments 
Who think I'm just a pawn in a fuckin game of chess 
But I gotta digress cause that mess isn't where this begins 
For that we gotta go before Christmas 
When I had a job doing what I love 
Writing code and squashing bugs then I was accused of 
Robbing 1500 bucks from a god damn 1.5 million dollar operation 
Who woulda thought such a tiny mistake 
Is all it takes for everything you thought you knew to dissipate 
But now is not the time to fuckin commiserate 
I've gotta stay in my happy place 
And take on this new challenge day by day 
With a smile on my face and begin the new chase 
For my opportunity to be fuckin great 
Cause it's not just gonna fall into place

Life is full of fears that leave us all scared 
To jump at the opportunities outside our sphere 
But we really need to live without those cares 
Takin the chances that we wouldn't normally dare
And when you feel you are in a rut 
Is the best time to just trust your gut 
Takin a chance to do what you really want 
As our time is always almost up and we're all fuckin nuts 
Cause we all have greatness inside us 
But we often fear it's break out or bust 
When really failures nothing more than a chance to trust 
That your time here was not fuckin wasted
So of course we all can be the greatest that has ever lived 
Since the definition only really exists 
Within regardless of the suspicions 
Of outside negative opinions 
Cause wasting time on them gets you committed 
Trying to figure out what's hidden 
Deep inside the minds of other men and women 
Who don't even know what decisions 
Drives their own god damn existence 
So look out into the world and think about what makes your stomach swirl 
And your fear feel real then start tackling that mountain like its a fuckin mole hill 
But the first step requires that you swallow that pill that we all call pride 
And get ready to become a better human on the other side 
Cause you'll never always be right so keep your spirits high 
And accept being wrong is fuckin fine

It's about time to change our lives 
By getting these thoughts out of my mind 
And blasting them through space and time 
In the hopes of helping us stop this slide
Cause we seem to be falling ever deep 
Into the pit of a selfish society 
Forgetting about the power of doing selfless deeds 
The epitome of being great fuckin human beings
Coming together for the good of all 
Not just thinking about whether we may fall 
Cause in the end I know I'll stand tall
Cause I didn't flee but I stayed to brawl
And on the horizon is a fight not about wrong or right 
Cause that's wasted time with our billions of minds 
Having all their own sides 
Rather we need to focus on what brings happiness to this life 
Helping those without it gain the right 
Having to no longer fuckin sacrifice 
Just to get by while hoping not to die 
Cause really tomorrow could be the end of life 
And allowing others to live that way is an absolute atrocity 
And if you can't agree on this sayin then you aren't humane 
And I don't mean to berate your minds fuckin state
As I can't fuckin say what made you that way 
So I'll continue to pray with the hope that one day 
Your mind will fuckin change and your heart will cave 
Making a selfless play to live a brand new way so what do you say
